Peace and Love Mad Hatter Cake

This was one of my more fun cakes this week. I've been wanting to do a 60's theme cake and finally had the call for one. The "hippie" was modeled out of modeling chocolate, the standing Peace sign was made from pastillage, and the flowers and smiley faces were made out of gumpaste.

Just in time for Spring! Fast and Fun flowers on and off wires, Beautiful Butterflies, and Stunning Bows

We will be using gumpaste and mexican paste to create flowers, butterflies, and bows. Bring your modeling tools, a cell pad for softening petal leaves, and a styrofoam to transport your flowers. I look forward to seeing you then!
